The most inexpensive and simplest type of a barbeque smoker is the water-smoker. A bowl of water is placed between its tray and
cooking racks that accumulate moisture throughout the cooking and smoking process. Another type is the electric-powered
barbeque smoker. It is more costly but it doesn't need you to look after it all the time since they don't require you to always maintain the fire. It makes the food a little tastier too.
The best, but most expensive type is the log or charcoal burning pit smoker. It is very big and heavy. It also gives you more options because it has excellent thermal control and smoke generation ability. This is also called an "upscale" barbeque smoker.
I know I'm self promoting but the thing works really cool and is versatile too. Allowing a person to even do a 25 pound turkey.
I like your blog. Very thoughtful and great ideas for cooking and enhancing the pleasure of life through food..
I have been smoking my food for over 18 years and cant get enough.
