Summer is a fun time to throw in some
barbecue cookouts and for families to get together to enjoy some great ol' barbecue. But with barbecue feasts left and right coupled with bottles of beer, a bulging tummy may just be the inevitable result. Don't keep that favorite barbecue from detracking you off your diet. Here are simple tricks you can follow to trick the meat and stay in shape all summer long.
Veggies and salads are the best way to keep you off the barbecue. Make sure that you have plenty of them around just so you stay healthy and in shape. You can use substitute dressings instead of the usual high-fat, high-calorie mayonnaise. Add some chives in your salads to get just the right flavor. You can also put the veggies in the skewers, brush a little oil and their ready for the grill.
If you can't really stay away from meat then eat meat in moderation. As much as you can you only need to eat meat in small serving but be sure to choose lean meat. Trim every inch of fat that you see. Best for you is to keep your meal in a balanced state. If you have eaten meat then double your
intake of veggies.
